Lasantha is the principal of LWD Accounting & consultancy Services. He brings over 16 years of experience in oil and gas,resources, construction and non-profit sectors in Australia and Overseas companies, having held senior management accounting, Finance Controller and Business partner positions at Air Force Association (Western Australian Division) Bethanie, Superior Energy and Merlo Group Australia. Before he migrated to Australia, He worked with the International Federation of Red Cross in Sri Lanka and worked as a Head of Finance at UNICEF funded tsunami school construction programme. His solid organisational ability combined with flexibility and capacity to work with a team can thrive on meeting clients’ business objectives.
Lasantha also held a non-executive Board of Director position (Since Nov 2021) at Explorability Inc and held aposition at CIMA Western Australia committee member (2014) Lasantha is a qualified Chartered Public Accountant of Australia (CPA), Chartered Management Accountant of UK(CIMA)and Global Chartered Management Accountant (CGMA). Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Accounting.Lasantha has a passion for financial modelling, new system implementations, process improvements, data analytics and Power BI.
